Some manufacturers prefer to create the perfect product and exploit it for years until it becomes obsolete. At Campagnolo, on the other hand, we prefer to think of our groupsets and wheelsets as objects that are constantly evolving, always in step with the technology and the performance features, so that they are always perfect.
This is why we have completely redesigned the Eurus Clincher and created the new Eurus wheels with 2-Way-Fit technology.
The 2010 2-Way-Fit model has achieved surprising results in terms of weight and performance, arriving at a total weight of just 1500 grams for the pair. This is quite an advantage in terms of performance, especially if we consider that, thanks to the 2-Way Fit technology, it is possible to exploit the advantages of both tubeless tires and the traditional clinchers.
The reduction in weight was obtained by introducing new aluminium spokes with aerodynamic profile and nipples in aluminium. A lighter weight that you can perceive right from the first push on the pedal.
Eurus 2-Way Fit will be available in the black colour version.
The Eurus Clincher wheels have also been extensively revised and lightened by a full 115 g with respect to the previous version, thanks to new construction technologies developed and applied by the Campagnolo research centre.
The profile has been lightened thanks to a new production procedure that makes it possible to considerably reduce the weight, thus increasing the reactivity and response of the wheel.
Though the 2010 version bears the same name as the previous one, it can actually be considered a completely new wheel, for both the 2-Way-Fit and clincher versions.
