Ladino will be the official language in Campagnolo on 29 June 2008, as the Maratona dles Dolomites, the biggest international cycling holiday event in Italy, sets off. The event attracted 8993 enthusiasts in 2007, just over a half of whom were Italian.
Participants at the Maratona can choose from three alternative routes offering different degrees of difficulty, so everyone has a shot at a challenge within their grasp.
The runs follow an itinerary offering stops at the most beautiful locations in the Dolomites, such as Val Gardena, Val di Fassa, Livinallongo, Colle Santa Lucia, Selva di Cadore and Corvara, the latter where the finish line for the three races will be located.
In the two days preceding the competition, cycling enthusiasts are invited to gather at Pedraces, the venue for the expo where leading industry players will present their latest and best products.
Again this year, Campagnolo is ready and waiting to meet the general public.
