The Marathon of the Dolomites is one of the most important and demanding road races in the sphere of Italian cycling events with an international reach. In the 2008 edition a whopping 9043 cyclists participated, only just over half of them Italian.
This year the 23rd edition of the Marathon of the Dolomites will take place on 5th July with the start from Corvara - Val Badia.
The courses will extend along a route that passes through the most beautiful locales of the Dolomites, including Val Badia, Val Gardena, Val di Fassa, Livinallongo, Colle Santa Lucia, Selva di Cadore, and Corvara, where all three courses will finish.
The Marathon offers three possible courses: the Marathon course, the middle one and the Sellaronda course with different levels of difficulty, to allow all participants to undertake a ride appropriate to their abilities.
In the two days preceding the competition, cycling enthusiasts are invited to gather at Pedraces, the venue for the expo where leading industry players will present their latest and best products: obviously Campagnolo will be there!

But that's not all: Campagnolo has put together a Dream Team composed of 11 big champions from different sports disciplines who will participate in the Maratona of the Dolomites.
