Pablo Lastras from the Spanish Movistar Team took the first win for his team and Campagnolo at the Vuelta a España.
Costa finished the 3rd stage from Petrer to Totana with 164 kilometers after 3:58 hours with 15 seconds to the second Sylvain Chavanel whose team Quick Step is also equipped with Campagnolo components.
With the victory of Lastras, Campagnolo's electronic drivetrain could win stages at all the three grand stage races this year: Giro d'Italia, Tour de France and Vuelta a España.
