Tour de France 2019

The 106th edition of the Grande Boucle is about to begin.

An anxious waiting for the start of the 2019 Tour de France, for an edition that promises to be spectacular. It will start from Brussels on 6 July in honor of Eddy Merckx, the "cannibal", and will end on July 28th with the usual catwalk that will bring the winner of the Grande Boucle to the Champs Elysées.

The Campagnolo teams have lined up their best athletes hoping to achieve important results. Team Movistar relies on Nairo Quintana, Mikel Landa, Alejandro Valverde, Marc Soler, Andrey Amador, Carlos Verona, Imanol Erviti and Nelson Oliveira to enrich the already important palmares in the Tour with seven general victories, 14 podiums, 33 stage victories and 5 best team rankings. UAE team - Emirates lines up Fabio Aru, Alexander Kristoff and Daniel Martin alongside top level names to face both the climbs and the TT stages.

Lotto-Soudal Team has many options to obtain stage successes, being strong on every terrain. Caleb Ewan will most likely concentrate on sprints having taken over the heritage of Greipel, while the rest of the team like Tiesj Benoot, Jasper De Buyst, Thomas De Gendt, Jens Keukeleire, Roger Kluge, Maxime Monfort and Tim Wellens will fight for victories on climbs and TT stages. Great opportunity for the Cofidis Solutions Crédits Team, the pro-Continental team that will have the chance to prove to have the credentials to return to the highest levels. Nacer Bouhanni and Christophe Laporte are the athletes who will give a hard time to fellow from the World Tour.

A big good luck to all our athletes!
