Campagnolo Teams

5 February 2020
Campagnolo Teams

The season has just begun and our WorldTour Teams have already begun to dominate the stages, equipped with the very best Campagnolo components.

The Lotto-Soudal team is one of the most long-running in international cycling. In saying goodbye to Greipel, it is beginning a new era: with 95 wins in 8 seasons, his shoes are hard to fill. With the addition of the powerful Australian sprinter Caleb Ewan, already victorious in the Vuelta a San Juan, the Belgian team is aiming to reinforce its position in classics and sprints. Together with Tim Wellens, Thomas De Gendt and the return of Phillippe Gilbert, we’re sure the team will present a challenge wherever they go. The Belgian team can take advantage of the Ridley Noah Fast Disc and Ridley Helium SLX Disc bikes equipped with Campagnolo Super Record EPS 12 Speed Disc Brake electronic groupset and Campagnolo Bora 35 Disc Brake and Bora 50 Disc Brake wheels.

2017 was the year in which UAE Team Emirates was launched, with the aim of representing the whole United Arab Emirates as a country, which is interested in promoting cycling and positioning itself as centre for sports cycling. A lot of young talent as been added for the 2020 season, including the young Alessandro Covi and under-23 time trial World Champion Mikkel Bjerg, who will join cyclists of the calibre of Aru, Rui Costa, Kristoff, Gaviria, Henao, Martin, Ulissi, Consonni and Pogačar. On their Colnago V3Rs bikes equipped with 12 Speed Super Record EPS electronic groupset and aerodynamic Campagnolo Bora WTO 45 and Bora WTO 60 wheels, UAE Team Emirates will be aiming for domination in the great stage races and sprint finishes.

Cofidis, the French team par excellence, returns to the premier cycling tour after a ten-year hiatus, ready to show off French cycling prowess in the races where it matters most. It’s a team with an immortal history. This season, it achieved no fewer than twenty victories, nine of which courtesy of the great French sprinter and Étoile de Bessèges-winner Christophe Laporte and six of the Spanish climber Jesus Herrada, who beat all comers in the sixth stage of the Vuelta a España and Tour de Luxembourg. With the arrival of the European champion Elia Viviani, the Cofidis team intends to come out swinging in the World Tour rankings, above all in the big event that is the Tour de France. Confirming the highly Italian character of the project, the Cofidis team’s riders will take to the season on De Rosa Merak bikes equipped with Campagnolo Super Record EPS Disc Brake 12 Speed electronic groupsets.
