Spokes

Spoke Positioning – Hub Side.To maximize aerodynamic efficiency, the aerodynamic spokes are housed inside the hub body, preventing the spoke head from protruding from the flange. This solution reduces air resistance and improves overall aerodynamic flow.
Spoke and Nipple Positioning – Rim Side. The nipples are positioned inside the rim. The use of internal nipples in the PISTA range adds a further aerodynamic advantage, contributing to a cleaner and more efficient profile.
Aerodynamically Optimized Spoke Pattern. Front Wheel: 20 aerodynamic spokes (10 J-bend + 10 J-bend) / Rear wheel: 24 aerodynamic spokes (12 J-bend + 12 J-bend) / Spoke diameter: 2 mm

Hub

To adapt to both new and more traditional track frame standards, the PISTA range is available in two hub width configurations: front: 65 mm / Rear: 100 mm; front: 100 mm / Rear: 120 mm (Flip-Flop). This dual design ensures maximum compatibility with the various track frame geometries on the market.
Assembly options include: For the front wheel: 65 mm hub with bolt-on mounting or 100 mm with 12 mm thru-axle (TA) or bolt-on mounting. For the rear wheel: 100 mm or 120 mm, both bolt-on. The 120 mm rear version uses a double-threaded Flip-Flop design, which ensures the installation of two sprockets on opposite sides of the hub, thus offering quick gear changes based on the discipline or the athlete's preference.

The new Pista features a unidirectional carbon fiber rim with a 65 mm high profile designed to ensure maximum aerodynamics, rigidity, and stability — essential qualities for track races.
With an external width of 27.4 mm, the rim offers an optimal base for mounting track tubular tires, ensuring the right balance between reliability and aerodynamics.
The sophisticated C-LUX finish, combined with water-transfer graphics, gives the wheel clean, distinctive aesthetics in true Campagnolo style.

Assembly

The Pista wheelset has been assembled entirely by hand by a specialized Campagnolo operator and subjected to 100% quality control using precision electronic instruments. This procedure guarantees the highest standards of performance and reliability, in line with the excellence that has always set all Campagnolo wheels apart.
