Building on the experience gained with Ekar 13s, Campagnolo introduces a new cassette designed for the Record 13 groupset, engineered to deliver even smoother, faster, more precise, and quieter shifting. Thanks to optimized spacing and the use of a 13-speed chain, an additional gear has been introduced without changing the freehub body standard: the proven N3W standard is fully maintained, with no need for adapters or dedicated hubs.
The new tooth profiling, combined with the Black Chrome surface finish and the final five-sprocket block featuring a laser-etched texture, enhances quietness, reduces wear, and improves long-term durability, while also creating a distinctive aesthetic.
Gear progression has been optimized for 1x setups, ensuring a smooth and consistent sequence without excessive jumps. Cadence remains steady and efficient even in the most demanding conditions, while the reduced gaps between sprockets allow for better effort management, improving performance and reducing fatigue.
The cassette extends up to 48 teeth, making it suitable for a wide range of terrains:
10–48: 10 / 11 / 12 / 13 / 14 / 16 / 18 / 21 / 25 / 30 / 36 / 42 / 48
The structure consists of an initial monoblock with the first three sprockets, followed by five or six independent central sprockets (depending on the configuration), and a final monoblock of five sprockets.
With Record 13, one more sprocket is not just a number — it means more choice, smoother transitions, optimal cadence, and a superior riding experience.
The Record 13 cassette, like the entire 13-speed platform, uses the N3W freehub body, ensuring full component interchangeability and ease of use without the need for adapters or dedicated hubs. This configuration, the widest in the Record and Super Record 13 range, is compatible exclusively with Record X and Super Record X rear derailleurs, and is designed for gravel applications or hybrid 1x road setups.
