The Ergopower controls of the Record groupset confirm the design and structure introduced with the Super Record 2x13 platform. Ergonomics and functionality combine to provide the rider with total bike control, ensuring immediate access to shifting functions and accessories from every riding position — tops, hoods, or drops — without ever removing hands from the controls.
This is not just a visual update, but a true evolution designed to significantly enhance the riding experience. Among the most notable innovations is the iconic “Thumb Shifter”, now integrated into the control body and repositioned for easy access from any hand position, ensuring precise control throughout every phase of pedaling.
On the inner side of the control, the new “Smart Button” has been introduced — a fully customizable button via the MyCampy app. It allows riders to tailor functions according to their preferences, from gear shifting management to controlling the bike computer or compatible Bluetooth devices.
Completing the system is the new “Shift Lever”, positioned behind the brake lever for a more natural and responsive shifting action. Not only the Smart Button, but all Ergopower levers can be configured through the Campagnolo app, enabling users to adapt each control to their riding style.
Special attention has also been given to comfort: the Ergopower geometry provides a wide, flat, and continuous support surface, designed to ensure a stable and secure grip even after long hours in the saddle. Both brake and shift levers, made entirely of carbon fiber, feature an ergonomic design that prevents finger interference, especially when riding on the hoods.
The pivot point has been optimized to deliver powerful yet perfectly modulated braking, while the lever reach can be micro-adjusted to suit any hand size and riding style.
Battery status, connectivity, and configuration phases can be monitored via an integrated LED or displayed on compatible apps and bike computers. Attention to detail completes the system: the new Record branding is visible on the front of the brake lever, accompanied by the laser-etched winged wheel logo on the inner side of the lever. The result is an advanced and reliable control system that combines customization, efficiency, and comfort, fully embodying Campagnolo’s technological excellence.
