In gravel applications (X series), both components are made of steel. The crank arms, made of carbon fiber in both families, also differ in their manufacturing process: Super Record uses a more advanced construction technology, resulting in lower weight compared to Record

The main difference lies in accuracy: the Super Record Power Meter (HPPM) offers ±0.5% precision, while the Record version (CPM) has ±2% accuracy. Both systems measure power on both sides, enabling full pedaling balance analysis. The My Campy app is also shared, allowing real-time data monitoring and operations such as calibration. The pairing process with cycling computers is identical for both versions.

Specifically: • 2x → 113-link solid pin chain + quick link code CN03-RE13ML; • 1x → for both gravel and road 1x setups, use the same chain as Super Record X (code CN02-SR1323); • Road 2x → the lightweight Super Record version of the chain is also compatible (code CN02-SR13ML): If in doubt, the 123-link 1x chain (code CN02-SR1323) is a universal solution for all Super Record and Record configurations: 2x road, all-road, 1x road, and gravel.
