The new Ergopower is a key component in the development of the Super Record 13 platform. To further expand control and customization options, Campagnolo has introduced a version with satellite controls, designed to offer cyclists maximum freedom of configuration.
This solution was born directly during races, where constant engagement with the athletes inspired an additional control option, capable of ensuring uncompromising ergonomics and functionality. An extra button ensures the placement of an additional shifting point at the cyclist's preferred location, adapting the cockpit to their needs and improving the riding experience.
Alongside the remote control, which can be repositioned on the handlebar, the famous Thumb Shifter has also made a comeback. It is now integrated into the control body and redesigned for easy access from any grip. Added to this is the Smart Button, located inside the Ergopower: this is a button that can be fully configured via the MyCampy app, allowing the rider to assign customized functions, ranging from gear shifting to control of the bike computer or compatible Bluetooth devices. To complete the system, the new Shift Lever placed behind the brake lever provides an even more natural and responsive shifting action.
All Ergopower levers and buttons can be freely configured via the Campagnolo app, allowing the cyclist to shape their cockpit according to their riding style and preferences.
The control body has maintained the same architecture as the electronic version’s structure, together with all the advantages in terms of comfort and ergonomics. The new geometry ensures a wide and continuous contact surface, for a firm grip even on longer rides. The carbon brake and gear levers have been optimized to prevent the rider’s fingers from getting in the way, especially from a high grip, while the pivot ensures powerful, progressive braking. The micrometric adjustment of the lever-to-handlebar distance allows the control to be adapted to each hand size and riding style.
Battery status, connectivity and configuration steps can be easily monitored via an integrated LED, the MyCampy app or compatible bike computers. The meticulously crafted design reveals all the Campagnolo elegance: Super Record lettering on the brake lever and a tone-on-tone winged wheel logo on the inner lever.
The result is the most advanced and sophisticated control system ever created: a perfect blend of customization, efficiency, and comfort, embodying all of Campagnolo's racing experience.
Like all the other SR13 platform components, the satellite controls are compatible with any type of configuration: from 2x13 road versions to the 1x13 X rear derailleur.
