Campagnolo produces a series of extremely high quality tools designed specifically for our products. Check with your retailer to find the right tool for the job. Though other manufacturers offer tools of various types, there are too many of these on the market for us to be able to test their quality or suitability for use on Campagnolo products. In addition, even if we could test a tool we could never certify that it would always work well because the tools and/or the products could be modified and we cannot know the impact such modification would have on the suitability of the tool.

I use a 2.5 mm Allen wrench in the front hole of the lever. For correct rear derailleur operation, I also adjust the position of the outer derailleur lever.
