Campagnolo produces a series of extremely high quality tools designed specifically for our products. Check with your retailer to find the right tool for the job. Though other manufacturers offer tools of various types, there are too many of these on the market for us to be able to test their quality or suitability for use on Campagnolo products. In addition, even if we could test a tool we could never certify that it would always work well because the tools and/or the products could be modified and we cannot know the impact such modification would have on the suitability of the tool.

Yes, it is possible on Ergopower units equipped with electronics. However, adding the satellite control is not compatible with the "brake only" versions. No, all Ergopower units are fully compatible and work with all versions of the platform. For example, even the 2x13 version can be managed with only the right-hand control in electronic configuration, thanks to the "shifting" function called Toggle, which allows you to control both the upshift and downshift of the derailleur with a single button.

To configure a single chainring set-up, both in the Gravel and Road versions, you need to use a rear derailleur equipped with a clutch, either the SR13 with "Nano Clutch" or Super Record X. For 2x13 versions intended for gravel use, we also recommend using the SR13 rear derailleur with "Nano Clutch".

As far as the crankset gears are concerned, no: you can fit up to 52 at the front and 48 at the rear of the sprocket set, for example. The configuration limits for this set-up are determined by the cassette: the SR X is only compatible with 9-42 and 10-48 cassette sets. For smaller sprockets, you need to use the SR 13 rear derailleur, which is compatible with sprocket sets up to 36 teeth.
